PSU Alum Dr. Shirley Malcom is head of Education and Human Resources Programs at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Her work includes enhancing public science literacy. She works to improve girls' and women's access to careers in science. Dr. Malcom is a former member of the National Science Board and served on Pres. Clinton’s Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology.
